Thank you for your interest in volunteering! Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the St. Cloud Area School District! We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for volunteers 14 years of age and older. We typically look for volunteers who are able to commit to volunteering for a full school year, or minimum of 20 hours before leaving our program. Volunteer in Education (ViE) Program - volunteers provide academic support for students. The program is designed to focus on improving academic outcomes for students in our schools. Volunteers serve as adult role models to students while encouraging them to do well in school. ViE volunteers are an important example and resource, they: - Demonstrate that our community values children and education - Encourage students to do their best - Show the importance of service to others - Support the work of teachers and staff We are looking for volunteers! Step 3. Orientation and training New classroom volunteers will be scheduled for Orientation through Volunteer Services. Field Trip charperones are not required to complete Orientation.
