College Knowledge Month

October is College Knowledge Month.  Counselors have been meeting with Juniors and Seniors to talk about College and Career Options.  Some Minnesota colleges and universities will be waiving application fees if students apply during the week of October 27-31 click here to see the list.  You can also view a calendar of events that students should be thinking about during this month. Apollo Staff Acknowledged

Dianne Brady received the 2014 MNSOTA Teacher of the Year Award. Boys Basketball Coach Dean Kesler will be recognized October 31 at the MSHSL Basketball Coaches Clinic for 300 wins and 20 years of coaching high school basketball.

Sophomores Taking the PLAN Test

On Wednesday, November 5th, the PLAN test will be given to all Sophomores.  The PLAN will test Students in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science.
The PLAN test will help Students:
 .  Identifying their academic strengths and areas for improvement
 .  Suggesting careers that match their interests
 .  Providing an opportunity to take a test similar to the ACT.

Financial Aid Night for Seniors and their Parents

Seniors Submit Yearbook Photo

Senior Pictures are due to the yearbook by Wednesday, November 26, submit to: yearbook742@gmail.com. All pictures must be sent digitally as a jpg with the image resolution of 300dpi. 

School Library Exchange

You can now donate new or gently used books to the Apollo High School Resource Center through the website School Library Exchange. This allows the library to increase the collection, enhancing the curriculum and encouraging leisure reading.

Advanced Placement Courses Offered
