Kennedy Community School Named Among First-Ever U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, together with White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley and Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lisa Jackson, announced today (April 23rd, 2012) that Kennedy Community School is among 78 schools named U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools. MN is among 29 states and D.C. with schools receiving the first-ever awards. |
Kennedy School Receives USGBC Gold Certificaton The U.S. Green Building Council has awarded St. Cloud Area School District 742's Kennedy Community School in St. Joseph, MN, with a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design for Schools (LEED) certification at the GOLD level. News Release |
